Miss Anja，came from South Africa, she graduated from B.Sc in Chemistry, Physics and Biology, and PGCE, she completed 120 hours TEFL. She is a licensed teacher with 5-years hands-on experience teaching in a classroom setting. She is dedicated to creating innovating learning activities for students. Anja is a very nice and funny teacher.

Mr. Calvinis a South African citizen who holds a bachelor's degree and a 120 hour TEFL certificate. He has one year of teaching experience. He is a friendly and an energetic person who enjoys having fun, meeting new people and playing sports.

Ms Cathy graduated from Queensland University of Technology, Australia with a Master’s degree in Business. After graduating, she taught young learners for almost 2 years and spent time travelling to over 20 different countries. Ms. Cathy has obtained the CELTA teaching certificate from Cambridge. She moved to China to gain more experience in teaching, experience and explore new culture, and eat more delicious food.

Miss Chane came from South African. She graduated from Bachelor in Education, Intermediate Phase, and she completed 120 hours of TEFL. She has been teaching since 2012. She taught in various primary schools, coached sports and participated in Au Pairing in the USA. She will use her experience to help children to learn English .

Ms Christelle comes from a small town in South Africa. She graduated from the North-West University of Potchefstroom in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics. After graduating, Ms Christelle worked at a public hospital for four years. She then completed a TEFL course and decided to come to Shenzhen. Ms Christelle enjoys travelling, trying new food, and reading.

Mr Corner, came from South Africa, he graduated from B.Sc Honours in Geology, and completed 168 hours of TEFL. He wants to teach people to the best of his abilities and also in the same spirit always be open to be taught by people. In Uni, he also tutored 1st years when he was in 3rd year. he has worked in Texas and want to experience China. 

Mr Dan is from Scotland and graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2014 with a Masters of Art degree in Comparative Literature and Music. Mr Dan has worked in a variety of schools, kindergartens and language centers throughout the mainland of China. This has allowed him the opportunity to deepen his understanding of the fascinating cultural traditions, in what he considers to be one of the most interesting places on the planet.

Mr. Edward is a Canadian Citizen. He obtained his Bachelor's and MBA degree before coming to China. Furthermore, he has received his TESOL certificate of 150 hours. He has been teaching English to children for almost 5 years now. He is excited to be part of Monkey Tree Guangzhou.

Ms Jo-Anne is from Calgary, Canada and she graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Education degree. Since graduating, Ms Jo-Anne taught Math in Sweden for 2 years and is now in China teaching English. Ms Jo-Anne likes to learn and experience other cultures as it broadens her horizons and open mindedness. As a result, she moved to China to experience its rich culture.

Mr Kevin is from Dunderry, Ireland. He graduated from Maynooth University in 2014 with a degree in English and Music. After graduating Mr Kevin completed a CELTA course so that he could become a teacher. Mr Kevin came to Hangzhou to broaden his skills and to experience a different culture.

Ms Lindy is from Mosselbay, South Africa. She studied Psychology at the University of Pretoria. Ms Lindy has always had a love of culture, a love of travel, and an adoration for children and teaching at Monkey Tree is the perfect way to combine all of these! She looks forward to growing with the center over the next year, and eating as many dumplings as possible!

Miss Mardi came from South African. She is very friendly and approachable. She graduated Bcom Honours in Financial Accounting, and she completed 120 hours of TEFL. She was excited to start her teaching career in MonkeyTree in China.

Mr. Niall is a South African Irish citizen who holds a bachelor's degree and a 120 hour TEFL certificate. He has one and a half years teaching experience and aspires to grow. He is enthusiastic and enjoys working with kids. He has a passion for traveling and embracing new culture. He is happy to be welcomed into Monkey Tree family.

Ms Ramona studied Government and International Relations in Australia. Her first teaching experience started 8 years ago. She did private teaching and mainly focused on Phonics. She has been with Monkey Tree for almost a year and is still loving her job. She loves to travel and practice yoga. Her favourite foods are chicken and sweet corn.

Mr Ruan is from Standerton, South Africa, and graduated from the North-West University in 2012 with a degree in Human Movement Sciences and Psychology. He was a primary school teacher who taught Mathematics and Natural Sciences and completed his TEFL qualification soon afterwards. Mr Ruan came to China to be a ESL teacher and to experience new cultures and people. He wants more experience in the field of ESL teaching.

Ms Sandra is from Cape Town, South Africa, and graduated with an Honours degree in Psychology. Since graduating, Teacher Sandra worked in the private sector for some years, after which she decided to complete a TEFL qualification and travel to China to be an English teacher and experience the rich and diverse culture of China.

Mr Sean graduated from the University of Leicester in 2018 with a Master’s degree in TESOL. Since graduating, Mr Sean came to China to be an English teacher so he could utilize his skills and have the opportunity to experience something wonderful in Asia.

Miss Stephanie comes from East London, South Africa. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Stellenbosch. Stephanie tutored first and second year students at the university during her postgraduate years. Stephanie obtained her TEFL certificate. She moved to China to experience the diverse culture, and to learn more about the history of the country. She is excited to be a part of the Monkey Tree team.

Miss Tanya is from East London, South Africa, and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences and Law from the University of Fort Hare. Thereafter she taught English as a second language in Shanghai. She loved the new teaching experience and recently decided to relocate to Dongguan to gain more ESL teaching experience and to embrace the rich and diverse Chinese culture.

Ms Zafirah is from Manchester, United Kingdom. She graduated with a bachelors degree in Biomedical Science from the Manchester Metropolitan University and holds 120 hours of TEFL. Since graduating, Zafirah came to China to be an English teacher and experience the diverse culture. She is excited to be a part of the Monkey Tree team.
